PolarPro 135 Series Black Mist is Peter McKinnon's homage to the golden age of analog photography and the feel of 1970s film cameras. The filter combines modern German Chroma optics with a nostalgic look. The Black Mist (1/4) diffusion filter cuts digital image over-sharpening and softens blooming highlights, creating a Kodak Portra-style, cinematic look while preserving shadow depth and neutral color temperature.

The filter comes with a very stylish, anodized 6061 aluminum film roll storage case . The lid of the case has a handy Sunny 16 rule chart engraved on it, which serves as a quick reference for exposure elements in the field.
