The binoculars utilize all the best optical innovations from Pentax's acclaimed roof prism range. The new Enhanced Light Transmission Coating, combined with Fully Multi-Coated, creates a crystal-clear, sharp and high-contrast image even in low light. The high-quality BaK-4 prisms are equipped with a Phase Correction coating, which effectively prevents chromatic aberrations and ensures natural color reproduction and precise resolution.

The durable construction is ready for even the most challenging conditions. The waterproof and dustproof body is nitrogen-filled, which prevents internal fogging of the optics during sudden temperature changes. The outer lens surfaces are treated with a protective coating that repels dirt, water and grease and protects against scratches.
