Peak Design's Travel Line for travelers focuses on the large 45-liter Travel Backpack. Much like F-Stop's ICU camera compartments, the Peak Design Travel Backpack is customizable to suit your needs with a variety of interior compartments from the collection. The Travel Backpack features weather-resistant fabric, a travel cooler, full front, back, and side access, a laptop compartment, and a large number of pockets.
The 45-liter Travel Backpack is an excellent option for photographers who need to carry a large amount of photographic equipment and other supplies but don't need a large backpack.
By focusing on versatility, organization, and accessibility, Travel Line strives to offer a versatile collection; no trip is ever the same, so the best backpack is one that adapts to them all.
The Peak Design Travel Backpack features a 100% recycled nylon outer shell that is water-repellent and weather-resistant, and a DWR (Durable Water Resistant) and PU-coated interior that also provides water resistance. This keeps your gear and valuable photography gear safe in damp locations and light rain. The bottom of the backpack is made of thick 900D polyester, which prevents water from seeping through even if the backpack is dropped on wet ground or surfaces.
The Travel Backpack is Peak Design's largest backpack with a maximum capacity of 45 liters. The backpack is adjustable to 30 liters, 35 liters and 45 liters, which allows for versatile use of the backpack for both travel and everyday use. At 35 liters, the backpack is approved for air travel and fits in the overhead compartment or luggage compartment of most airline aircraft.
If you need extra space in your backpack, there are zippers on the front of the bag that allow you to increase the volume of the backpack to a maximum of 45 liters. Increasing the space is quick. A small note that the expansion section, or additional space, grows to the front of the backpack, not to the middle of the backpack where the Camera Cube internals go. However, you can roll away the partition between the front and the main compartment, which connects the front to the main compartment of the backpack and creates a 45-liter duffel-style bag from the Travel Backpack.
When the main compartment of the camera is filled primarily with camera equipment, the additional 10-liter space comes in handy, especially for outdoor photographers. The additional space can accommodate a nice amount of extra thermal layer, rainwear, food, or other outdoor gear and equipment.

The magnetic latch system familiar from the Everyday Backpack backpacks is not found here, as the Travel Backpack uses strong and durable waterproof zippers. There are four ways to access the main compartment of the backpack , from the front, back and both sides. The back panel opens completely, which allows easy and unhindered access to the interior of the backpack. The side doors that open from both sides of the backpack are familiar from previous Everyday Backpack backpacks. This is a great feature for situations when you want quick access to the interior of the backpack. You can simply fold the Travel Backpack to the front of your body, making it easy to access your equipment.
The front of the backpack has a large zippered compartment that runs the entire height of the backpack and contains a panel with smaller zippered pockets. The panel also acts as a storage compartment, which can be opened out of the way with a zipper and folded into a pocket at the bottom of the backpack. You then have complete and easy access to the interior of the backpack through the front panel.

In its simplicity, the Travel Backpack consists of a large main compartment that can be used as is or together with the Camera Cube inner compartment, an expandable front section, and a large number of pockets and compartments.
Behind the front panel of the backpack are four large zippered pockets, two of which have a two-way zipper. The two-way zipper allows you to access these pockets from the front as well as from inside the main compartment of the backpack. The top inner pocket has several places for pens, business cards, a notebook and other small items.
