A versatile and popular mounting solution from Peak Design that allows you to carry your camera, for example on the shoulder strap of a backpack or on a belt.

The Peak Design Capture Clip v3 mounting solution is 20% narrower, 30% lighter, and 20% thinner than its predecessor. The manufacturer promises that using the mounting system is smoother and easier than before. The new clip attaches to a backpack strap, bag, belt, or any strap that is up to 6.4cm wide and 1.5cm thick. There is an anti-slip pad on the inside of the clip, which makes the clip stay on the strap even more secure.

You can attach the clip to the strap using traditional thumb screws, or if you want a more secure attachment, it is now possible to tighten the clip into place with Allen screws.

This new Clip is backward compatible with all Peak Design quick release plates and mounts.

Long bolts, sold separately, allow you to use Capture clips on straps thicker than 1.3cm. Long bolts allow for straps up to 2cm thick*

* Please note that the strap thickness is measured when the strap is compressed. For example, the shoulder strap of many backpacks is thicker when “free”. However, the bolts and Capture Clips will fit around these

The Capture Clip works with any camera, whether your camera is a full-frame, body-mounted, compact mirrorless or even a pocket camera. The quick-release plate lock, which can withstand over 90kg of force, keeps your valuable camera securely attached.

The Capture Clip has a safety lock that you can turn to prevent the camera from falling or getting caught by long-fingered hands.
