This fourth-generation material is thicker than before, meaning that with pocket cameras like the Sony RX100 series, you need to use a thin fishing line (i.e., use the fishing line to pull the anchor link through the camera's strap clip).

The sales package includes 4 pieces of Dyneema anchors that can be used with products such as Leash, Cuff, Slide or Clutch. With additional anchors, you can use Peak Design straps with multiple products, such as binoculars or helmet cameras, water bottles and other equipment.

Peak Design Anchors are the newest and most durable Dyneema fiber. Dyneema is much stronger and more abrasion resistant than Kevlar or Vectran. The Dyneema strap has three layers. The top layer is black, underneath is a yellow layer of fiber, and the core of the strap is red. The colors indicate when the strap has worn out enough to need replacing.

Anchor Links attach to any attachment point on your camera, binoculars, or other gear. The gear can then be attached to Peak Design straps or other mounting systems and straps that have an Anchor Link counterpart.

Weight capacity of over 90 kilograms , meaning this system can also withstand heavier cameras and systems.
