Panasonic VW-HU1 handle

The Panasonic VW-HU1 is a grip unit designed for the Panasonic HC-X1500 camcorder, adding to an already excellent camcorder.

In addition to providing comfort when holding the camera, the handle also offers 2 XLR audio inputs, a microphone holder, an integrated LED video light, and control buttons that affect camera operation, such as the REC button and zoom lever.

Each 3-pin has +48V Phantom power supply, and MIC/LINE is selectable as an XLR audio input. The volume is manually adjustable. The system also supports 24-bit linear PCM, 16-bit AAC (MP4), and Dolby Audio system (AVCHD) high-quality 2-channel recording.

The handle itself attaches to the X1500 camera using an existing connection, and the attachment is secured with a thumb screw.
