The Nisi Black Mist 1/4 filter softens highlights to a dreamy effect. The effect is balanced yet clear at this 1/4 strength, making it suitable for a variety of uses.
The filter is part of Nisin's Cinema series and is particularly suitable for video productions. The contrast is evened out and the highlights are softened, giving the image a cinematic feel. Especially when shooting against backlight, it gives the soft feel of a vintage lens, but retains an undistorted image and some of the sharpness.
