The Nikon DF-M1 is a universal hot shoe accessory that makes it easier to shoot distant and fast-moving subjects with a telephoto lens. Dot Sight allows you to track and shoot the subject with both eyes open, so you can keep the subject in your field of vision at all times. Easy to aim when you put the camera on a tripod and frame a slightly further away subject on the screen or viewfinder in the center, after which you adjust the position of the red dot. Due to parallax error, the framing is not quite accurate at different distances.

The brightness and position of the crosshair can be adjusted.

The Nikon DF-M1 is powered by a separate button battery, so it can be used with any compatible hot shoe.
