Manfrotto Cold Shoe Tilthead (MLH1HS-2) tilt head
The Manfrotto MLH1HS-2 is a Tilt Head with a hot shoe. This allows you to attach, for example, a flash and a transmitted-light/reflector umbrella to your lighting stand.
This is compatible with all devices that have a standard hot shoe mount, i.e. SpeedLite flashes, LED panels, microphones, etc.
There is a hole in the upper part of the joint for an umbrella. The thickness of the umbrella shaft can be max 3/8" or about 9mm. The Cold Shoe TiltHead attaches to any tripod with a standard spigot mount.
