The Manfrotto 244N Friction Arm is a sturdy articulated arm for attaching lighting, screens and other photographic equipment. The Magic Arm has a load capacity of 3kg, so you can attach even larger photographic equipment with it.

The arm has a ball joint at both ends with a standard 16mm (5/8') stud, and a folding joint in the middle. All of these joints are locked with a single tightening screw, so the arm can be quickly adjusted to the desired position. One spigot also has a 1/4' female thread and the other end has a 3/8' female thread.

The Manfrotto Variable Friction Arm is modular

• Together with the Manfrotto 003 backlight stand , you can keep the articulated arm upright on the floor
• Together with the Manfrotto 035C Super Clamp, you can attach the arm to a pipe or the edge of a shelf, for example.
• With the Manfrotto 143BKT adapter you can attach a camera to the articulated arm.
