Manfrotto 200USS Universal Anti-Twist Quick Release Plate for Telescopes

The Manfrotto 200USS Universal Anti-Twist Quick Release Plate is designed to reduce unwanted rotation of the telescope in the tripod when viewing the telescope.

The 200USS aluminum mount consists of two parts: the lower part is Manfrotto's most common 200PL quick release plate, and the upper part is a plate with two adjustment/tightening screws. The quick release plate is a universal design, which means that it can be used with all telescopes, regardless of the shape of the telescope's foot (square, rectangular, trapezoidal, etc.).

The telescope is attached to the standard 1/4" tripod screw of the 200USS quick release plate via its tripod thread. The two adjustment screws on the side lock the telescope to the quick release plate so that it does not rotate accidentally. The Manfrotto 200USS quick release plate is suitable for all Manfrotto camera heads that are compatible with the 200PL quick release plate (e.g. 128RC, MHXPRO-2W)
