The Manfrotto 014-14 Rapid Adapter is an adapter that attaches to any light stand with a 5/8' (16mm) stud.
The adapter converts the light mount to a standard 1/4-inch male thread, allowing you to attach a camera, microphone, or any device with a 1/4' female thread to your light stand.
The adapter can be attached to the end of the light stand vertically or horizontally.
