LensCoat RainCap lens weather protection

The LensCoat RainCap is a lightweight and packable weather cover designed to keep rain, snow, sand and dust away from the front element of your camera lens. It is made from the same quiet, breathable and waterproof material as the manufacturer's actual rain covers (RainCoat), and its seams are taped for full weather resistance.

• Waterproof and breathable material: Keeps out the elements while allowing moisture to escape, helping to prevent fogging of the optics. The material is also designed to be quiet so it doesn't create any noise when shooting wildlife.
• Flexible attachment: An adjustable bungee cord secures the cover tightly around the lens or lens hood and allows for quick installation and removal.
• Compact design: The cover has a slim and very lightweight design, so it can be easily folded into a pocket or rain cover carrying bag for storage.
• Tether: An integrated tether allows you to attach the cover to the camera body or the actual rain cover, preventing it from getting lost in the wind or falling to the ground.

Mechanics, compatibility and range:

The RainCap is designed to slide directly over the front of the lens. The flexible clamping mechanism creates a uniform mechanical pressure around the lens barrel or lens hood, preventing wind and splashes from entering the cover. The device can be used completely independently as a lens protector or seamlessly combined with other LensCoat neoprene covers and rain hoods, creating complete weather protection for your entire equipment. The product is available in a variety of colors and patterns to optimally blend into its surroundings.
