LensCoat Lens Cover -suoja (Nikon AF-S 500mm PF ED VR) - Forest Green

LensCoat Lens Cover for the Nikon AF-S 500mm PF ED VR - protection

Black lens cap suitable for Nikon AF-S 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR lens.

LensCoat's Lens Cover is not just about camouflage, it also provides additional protection for the lens. In addition, the protective suit offers better handling, especially if you are shooting in hot or cold conditions. The neoprene cover does not absorb heat or cold in the same way as, for example, the metal body of the lens.

Cover style: Forest Green

Compatible devices: Nikon AF-S Nikkor 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR

• Protects the lens surface from scratches, bumps and wear
• Helps blend into the environment
• Prevents light reflection from the white lens body
• Makes lens handling more comfortable in hot and especially cold conditions

Neoprene LensCoat protects the device

The multi-piece protective jacket is made to fit snugly over the latest Nikon AF-S Nikkor 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR lens. No glue or tape is required to attach these, so the protectors are easy to remove from the device if necessary. The side of the protector that faces the lens is rubberized, so the protectors do not slide and stay firmly in place.

Nature and bird photographers and photographers who travel in nature often have to lean their lenses against rough and hard surfaces such as trees, fences or brick walls, so without protection, it is only a matter of time before the lens body gets scratched. LensCoat's soft protection keeps the body protected from scratches, dents and paint wear. The matte surface also does not reflect light, so there is no need to worry about scaring shy animals.

You can use all parts of the Lens Cover to cover the entire lens body, or you can leave some parts, such as the part covering the zoom ring, unused if you find it more comfortable.

The neoprene material is water-repellent, but it does not make the lens waterproof. The cover does, however, prevent the device from getting wet better than if you were to take photos without a cover.

The cover has an opening protected by transparent plastic over the important buttons on the lenses, making the buttons easier to use.
