LensCover protects

The multi-piece lens protector is made to fit snugly over the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Contemporary DG OS HSM lens. No glue or tape is required to attach the protectors, so they are easy to remove from the camera when needed. The side of the protector that faces the lens is rubberized, so the protectors don't slide around and stay firmly in place.

Nature and bird photographers and photographers who travel in nature often have to lean their lenses against rough and hard surfaces such as trees, fences or brick walls, so without protection, it is only a matter of time before the lens body gets scratched. LensCoat's soft protection keeps the body protected from scratches, dents and paint wear. The matte surface also does not reflect light, so there is no need to worry about scaring shy animals.

You can use all parts of the Lens Cover to cover the entire lens body, or you can leave some parts, such as the part covering the zoom ring, unused if you find it more comfortable.

Neoprene is water-repellent, but it does not make the lens waterproof. The cover does, however, prevent the device from getting wet better than if you were to shoot without a cover.

The cover has a plastic-coated "window" over the important buttons on the lenses, making the buttons easier to use.
