LensCoat covers are not just about camouflage, they are also about additional protection and the better handling they provide, especially if you are shooting in hot or cold conditions. The neoprene cover does not absorb heat or cold in the same way that, for example, the metal body of a teleconverter does.

Neoprene is water-repellent, but it does not make the device waterproof. The cover does, however, prevent the device from getting wet better than if you were to shoot without the cover.

The covers are made to fit snugly on the Canon EF-EOS R Mount Adapter. There is no need for glue or tape to attach them, so the covers are also easy to remove from the device if necessary.
