The JJC ALC-SH142 lens hood is specially designed for the Sony FE 85mm f/1.4 GM lens. It helps prevent unwanted ghosting by extending the lens head and creating a shadow.

The lens hood is made of ABS plastic and has a matte, non-reflective inner surface. This further reduces lens flare. The lens hood allows for the attachment of a 77 mm filter and lens cap. Since the lens head is extended, it also provides additional protection against accidental impacts.

The lens hood can be folded back over the lens, saving storage space and making it easier to carry. JJC LH-SH142 replaces the SON. ALC-SH142 lens hood. When the lens hood is attached, there is no darkening (vignetting)
