The transmitter's microphone is omnidirectional, meaning you can record background noise or a conversation between several people, such as an interview. It can be attached directly to the performers using either a clip or a magnet.

Lark Max 2 supports timecode, which makes it easier to synchronize audio and video during the editing phase. Thanks to the wide dynamic range of 32-bit recording, audio levels can be adjusted afterwards without losing quality, even if the audio level is initially too loud or too low.

The transmitter's 8GB internal memory is enough to record up to 14 hours of audio. AI-powered noise reduction reduces unwanted background noise and interference from the audio. Two windscreens are also included to reduce wind noise and rustling from clothing.
