The Haida PRO II Multicoated UV Filter is designed to protect the front element of your lens from dust, scratches, moisture, and other external factors. This UV filter utilizes a 12-layer anti-reflective coating that effectively prevents internal ghosting and flare.

The filter's nano-coating makes it easy to keep the glass clean. The nano-coating causes water and oil to form droplets on the surface (beading effect), making it easier to wipe away dirt. The high light transmission of 99.6% ensures that the filter does not impair image sharpness or colors.

Modern cameras also have built-in UV filters, but the PRO II works as a very good protective filter. Use the filter especially on a valuable lens to protect the front lens against shocks, abrasion and dirt. This will keep the lens in working order for longer and the value of the optics will be better preserved.
