Goya Canvas is equipped with the factory's own premium satin-like special coating. The canvas offers exceptionally good mechanical durability and a stunning gloss straight from the printer - it requires no varnishing or other separate post-treatment before being stretched onto the wedges.

Unlike traditional matte canvases, Hahnemühle Goya Canvas does not require the laborious and time-consuming application and drying of a protective varnish. Its satin finish effectively protects the print from fingerprints, light breath and environmental influences. This makes it an economical and fast choice for large project implementations, exhibitions and commercial printing, as the print is ready for finishing as soon as the ink dries.

Because the fabric is very flexible and does not split at the corners, it is perfect for modern "gallery wrap" stretching, where the image continues over the edges of the wedge frame. For best results, we recommend letting the finished print dry on a flat surface before stretching to allow the pigments to set perfectly.
