Hahnemühle Agave 290 is part of the manufacturer's innovative Natural Line series, which sets a new standard for environmentally friendly and sustainable high-end fine art printing. A whopping 70% of the raw material of this unique art paper is made from agave (sisal) fiber, a rapidly renewable and very low-water-requiring fiber, and the remaining 30% is pure cotton. The natural toughness of the agave fiber gives the paper a sturdy structure without the need for chemical additives, making it a responsible choice without compromising on uncompromising gallery quality.

It guarantees an exceptionally wide color gamut, excellent image sharpness and top-class black density (D-max). Since the paper contains no optical brighteners (OBA), its undertone remains unchanged and does not yellow over decades. This makes the paper an ideal choice for collector's prints, portfolios and limited edition exhibition projects.

As this is a porous and fibrous Fine Art paper, we recommend always using cotton gloves when handling prints and allowing finished pigment prints to dry before framing or stacking them.
