The MISSION 1 series is a new line of compact cinema cameras that takes performance well beyond the traditional GoPro HERO series action cameras. This ILS model is equipped with an MFT mount, meaning that like system cameras, you have to buy a separate lens for this. The Pro model, meaning it shoots a maximum of 8K/60fps and 4K/240fps video.

The MISSION 1 PRO ILS is compatible with Micro Four Thirds (MFT) lenses with manual focus and aperture, giving you the freedom to choose the right lens for every shooting situation, or use an adapter to attach vintage lenses, PL-mount film lenses, and other specialty lenses.

These new cameras combine a large and advanced 50MP 1" image sensor, exceptional low-light performance, impressive 8K30 and 4K120 Open Gate video recording, and GoPro's best battery life and thermal management. The result is the world's smallest, lightest, and most durable professional cinema camera.

Mission 1 Pro vs Mission 1 differences:

• 4K/8K frame rates: The base Mission 1 model reaches 8K/30fps and 4K/120fps. This Pro model doubles those numbers to smoother 8K/60fps and 4K/240fps video.
• 8K Open Gate: The base model is limited to 4K quality in the higher 4:3 Open Gate mode. This Pro model offers full 8K Open Gate mode, making it easy to crop high-resolution vertical videos for TikTok and horizontal videos for YouTube.
• 960 fps Burst Slo-Mo: The base model maxes out at 1080p/240fps. This Pro model features Burst Slo-Mo mode, which records blazing-fast 1080p/960fps slow-mo for 10 seconds.

A 50-megapixel 1" sensor and advanced GP3 processor form a powerful combination. The sensor's dynamic range of up to 14 stops and large 3.2µm composite pixels in Quad Bayer mode capture exceptionally precise details from deep shadows to the brightest highlights.

The camera supports HLG-HDR video and 10-bit color depth with GP-Log2 profile. Video recording at up to 240 Mbps bitrate. Timecode Sync makes it easy to synchronize multiple camera footage in post-production.

Each of the camera’s thirteen shooting modes is optimized for specific environments and uses, utilizing advanced machine learning and situational awareness. The camera ensures the best possible image quality regardless of the conditions. For example, Vlog mode takes care of cropping and toning for you. You can also skip the automatic mode entirely and adjust everything manually.

Professional-grade audio quality is achieved with four microphones that enhance stereo recording and reduce wind noise. Intelligent 32-bit Float audio recording prevents distortion in even the loudest situations, and Bluetooth® 5.3 enables wireless high-fidelity audio with compatible devices.

With a GP3 processor, optimized hardware, and a fast-charging Enduro 2 high-capacity battery, the camera has GoPro’s longest battery life ever and the most reliable thermal management. MISSION 1 shoots for up to 5 hours straight at 1080p/30 using Endurance mode.
