Weatherproof (IP54) and powerful LED light from Godox's Knowled professional series for large shooting situations, film and TV productions.

The MG1200Bi is Godox’s most powerful light and is designed to challenge traditional HMI lights in large productions. Unlike many traditional Bi-Color lights, which reduce power as the color temperature is adjusted, the MG1200Bi offers a full 1200 watts of power across all color temperatures (2800K – 6500K). This makes it an extremely powerful tool, matching the brightness of a traditional 1.8kW HMI light, but offering the ease and adjustability of LED technology.

• Peak power: 1200W power, which is equivalent in brightness to a traditional 1.8kW HMI luminaire.
• Weather protection (IP54): The light head and control unit are weatherproof, so you can shoot in the rain without worry.
• Color rendering: CRI and TLCI are 96+, which is critical for professional film work and repro photography.
• New G-Mount: A more robust Godox G-Mount with electrical contacts. The contacts allow the light to recognize the accessory attached to it (e.g. a Fresnel lens) and optimize the power accordingly.
• Brightness adjustment: Dimming is adjustable with an accuracy of 0.1%.

The color rendering index (CRI), which describes the quality of light, is high at 96. This means realistic and well-reproduced colors and skin tones. The brightness is infinitely adjustable from 0% to 100%.

The Godox MG1200Bi can be controlled via DMX512 (supports RDM protocol) and LumenRadio CRMX controllers (built-in receiver), via Ethernet via sACN and ArtNet protocols, and via a supported Luminair controller. The light can also be controlled via its own 2.4 GHz wireless RC-A6II/RC-R9II remote controller, the Godox Light App, built-in controls, or the separately sold RC-11 control panel.

The MG1200 light comes with a number of built-in lighting effect presets that allow you to add cinematic lighting effects to your film projects. These effects include thunder, broken lamps, candles, fireworks, explosions, welding, etc. Each effect can be turned on and off individually.
