Godox's iT32 iFlash is an ultra-compact flash unit with a completely new modular design. Weighing just over 160 grams, the flash is designed specifically for mirrorless cameras and photographers who require lightness and versatility in their equipment.
The flash does not have a fixed hot shoe, but is magnetically attached to the camera using a camera-specific X5 transmitter module (e.g. Canon, Nikon, Sony). When you want to move the flash off the camera, you simply pull the iT32 flash off - the X5 module remains on the camera's hot shoe and acts as a wireless transmitter. This means that you can go from on-camera shooting to off-camera lighting in literally seconds.
Despite the device's small size, the power and features have not been compromised. The iT32 is powered by a built-in 900 mAh battery, which offers a whopping 510 flashes at full power at best and keeps the charging time between shots short (only about 1.5 seconds). The battery can be conveniently charged directly via the USB-C port, so you can charge it during shooting gigs, for example directly from a power bank or a car's USB port.
Like larger flash units, the iT32 supports the camera's TTL light metering and HSS mode, allowing the flash to be synchronized to shutter speeds of up to 1/8000 second. The flash head can be rotated (270°) and tilted (-7–90°), making it easy to bounce light softly off ceilings or walls.
As with Godox, the iT32 includes a 2.4 GHz wireless receiver. It is fully compatible with the X5 module and Godox X-series transmitters (e.g. XPro II and X3), and can also act as a master flash to control a group of other Godox flashes if necessary.
