DJI Avata 2 drone

The Avata 2 is lighter and quieter than its predecessor, has a longer flight time, and the camera now has a larger 12-megapixel 1/1.3' sensor.

The DJI Avata 2 is a cinewhoop FPV drone. In Finnish, it combines the charm of flight, stabilized 4K video and safe flight even in tight indoor spaces!

You can see the drone's image in Full HD with FPV video goggles, there is a separate motion-sensing controller for control, and the helicopter itself is equipped with propeller guards and is built to withstand rough conditions. So cinewhoop is a combination of pleasure flying but with 4K video recording from a camera helicopter for great camera drives!

Safety features and durability

It has obstacle detection down, a gyroscope and GPS like other DJI devices. The DJI Avata 2 combines the charm of speed and safe flying in appropriate proportions. The controller has an emergency brake, which when pressed stops the drone and hovers in place. Like other filming drones, this one has a Return to home - automatic return home if the signal to the controller is lost or the battery is running out.

Included is the Turtle Mode, familiar from the previous Avata, if the drone falls to the ground in the wrong direction due to the force of a collision, by activating this function the drone will turn itself to the right direction and you can continue flying.

For minor crashes and wall impacts, the Avata has integrated propeller guards. The drone also stabilizes its flight and maintains altitude after a collision, instead of soaring out of control.

DJI has a great flight simulator called DJI Virtual Flight App that you can use to get a feel for flying and spend some time with. This way, flying with DJI Avatar will become familiar.
