The Chasing Dory diving drone features a 1080p Full HD video camera with a bright f1.6 lens, LED front lights and a diving depth of 15 meters. This makes it possible to enjoy pleasure trips on a familiar lake as well as more demanding underwater exploration or documentation. For example, checking the structures of piers and boat hulls is possible with this submarine.

Chasing Dory weighs only 1.3 kg and is very easy to use. It is controlled via a tablet or smartphone. The software displays a real-time video image from the device's camera. This 720P resolution control image can also be livestreamed to, for example, Youtube or Facebook!

Video and control signals are transmitted wirelessly via Wi-Fi to Dory's floating signal buoy, which transmits the signal via a 15m cable to the Dory drone. The buoy also has 8GB of storage space for drone video and still images. The buoy also includes a GPS device that records Dory's location and alerts you if the device goes out of sight.

Chasing Dory has five motors and propellers, making it agile to move around. Two propellers propel the drone forward and backward and from side to side. Three other propellers control the depth of the dive and the angle of the device. The angle of the Dory can be adjusted 45 degrees in either direction, which is especially important when exploring the bottom or overhead structures . The depth lock also allows Dory to stay at a desired depth.

Dory comes with a protective case. There is also a comfortable backpack, tailored for Dory, that can hold all of her accessories at the same time.
