The Canon 15x50 IS All Weather is a waterproof binocular with IS image stabilization that brings distant objects 15 times closer.

The binoculars are weatherproof to JIS 4, making them suitable for use in harsh weather conditions. The robust construction and rubber surface withstand harsh weather conditions, making them an excellent choice for tough use, such as at sea.

Optical image stabilization effectively reduces image shake and vibration, which occurs when using binoculars handheld or in moving vehicles. Sensors detect even the slightest movement and a microprocessor controls a prism that corrects the angle of refraction of incoming light, keeping the image stable.

This binocular has Vari-Angle Prism type image stabilization. In this type of system, the binoculars contain two sensors that detect horizontal and vertical movement. The signals detected by these sensors are used by the binoculars' microprocessor to control two Vari-Angle Prisms, which are located on each tube of the binoculars. The prisms move with the user's hands, thus preventing hand shake.

The binoculars feature Canon's UD (Ultra-low Dispersion) lens elements that effectively reduce chromatic aberration, as well as Super Spectra lens coatings, which ensure accurate color reproduction and a vivid, high-contrast image.
