The Blackvue DR590X-1CH Plus uses a high-quality Sony STARVIS™ image sensor , which is specially designed for challenging lighting conditions. It produces sharp images in bright daylight and preserves details when driving in low light or at night. The 60 frames per second (60fps) speed makes the video smoother and significantly reduces motion blur, which is critical for recognizing license plates, for example.

Parking guard – protects your car even when parked

The DR590X series features a native parking mode. When the vehicle is turned off, the device's motion detection is activated. As soon as the camera detects movement or an impact, it records video to a memory card. The device also records 5 seconds before the event thanks to the buffer memory.

The device has a built-in battery monitor that monitors the car battery voltage and automatically cuts off power before the battery drains too much. So you don't need a separate Power Magic controller.

The camera has three recording functions:

• Normal mode: The camera automatically saves the image and deletes the oldest recording when the card is full.
• Event mode: The G-sensor detects an accident or sudden braking and saves the video to a protected folder.
• Parking mode: Automatic transition to monitoring mode when the car has been stationary for more than 5-10 minutes.

Wireless control and expandability

Built-in Wi-Fi lets you connect your smartphone to the camera using the Blackvue app. You can view live video, download recordings to your phone, or change settings effortlessly. With the optional CM100LTE-M module, you can also connect the camera to a mobile network and take advantage of the Blackvue Cloud Lite cloud service.
