The BlackRapid Hybrid-X 2-in-1 is a camera strap that can be used to carry two cameras or just one camera. When compared to the Double camera harness for two cameras, the most visible and noticeable difference is that when carrying two cameras, the weight is on one shoulder.

The strap is a quick-release and ergonomically designed “over the shoulder” camera strap for situations where extra durability is required. The other part of the strap can also be removed, making it work like a normal Blackrapid strap. The package includes an underarm strap, which keeps it more securely in place and prevents the camera strap from twisting, even when the camera is moved a lot.

The camera is attached to the strap's steel mounting screw via its tripod thread (or the tripod thread of the lens collar), allowing the camera to hang freely on the hip and be quickly within reach. The weight of the second camera is distributed evenly between the opposite shoulder and hip, so there is no strain on the back.

The updated X version emphasizes comfort and offers additional padding for long shooting sessions, making the strap comfortable to wear even for longer periods of time.
