The Blackmagic Design ATEM Mini is a truly versatile live switcher with an integrated control panel designed for multi-camera live streaming and web productions. It is also ideal for Skype presentations, corporate presentations or even educational videos.

ATEM Mini Extreme includes all the same features as ATEM Mini PRO, plus doubles the connections and adds a few versatile features.

• ATEM Mini Extreme offers 8 HDMI inputs, so now you can control up to eight cameras or video sources.
• ATEM Mini Extreme offers 2 HDMI outputs, so you can output, for example, Program and Multiview simultaneously
  
• The second USB-C port offered by ATEM Mini Extreme allows you to record the broadcast to an external drive, and at the same time connect a webcam to the second USB-C port.
• Mini Extreme adds 3 Chroma Keyers, so up to 4 separate cameras get their own greenscreen set
• The Extreme also has a headphone jack, so you can monitor the sound.
  

An 8-channel HDMI switcher means you can connect up to eight separate cameras or devices, such as an HD camera, game console or computer. The HDMI inputs can accept up to 1080p60 video. The ATEM Mini Extreme also has two (2) HDMI outputs, so you can connect a projector or external monitor, for example, and get the Program and Multiview outputs at the same time.

There are 2x USB-C ports on the back of the device. These allow you to stream 1080p/60fps video to your computer. You can also simultaneously record the broadcast on an external drive and connect a webcam to the other port, for example.

Atem Mini EXTREME also allows you to stream without a computer directly via an Ethernet connection. The device supports video software such as Skype, Teams and OBS.

Atem Mini Extreme can record the stream to an external USB drive in H.264 format.

ATEM Mini Extreme can be used as is, or with the included feature-rich Atem Software Control software, which brings depth and professionalism to your work.

The control panel is clear in its functions, and the easy-to-read backlit keyboards make it easy to control the controls. The panel's keys allow you to select the desired camera input, as well as affect settings and transitions. The keys also include upstream and downstream keys, an advanced chroma keyer, two linear/luma keyers, a DVE transition keyer, a pattern generator and two color generators.

The Blackmagic ATEM Mini Extreme has a built-in audio mixer that allows you to control both the camera and external audio sources. The mixer features On/Off/Audio-Follow-Video per channel, as well as separate gain control per channel, level and peak metering, and new Fairlight audio enhancements such as compressor, gate, limiter, six parametric EQ bands, and master gain.

The device also has a media storage space that can store up to 20 still graphics files. This eliminates the need for a separate external generator for graphics used in broadcasts. The most common image formats are PNG, TGA, BMP, GIF, JPEG, and TIFF.

RJ45 10/100/1000 Ethernet port allows for remote system management and updates.
