Create precise, controlled and creative lighting in the studio.
Ideal for dramatic special effects, subtle patterns and creative designs on any subject and any surface or background.
The spotlight allows you to shape and control light to an almost surgical level. The spotlight has four cutters/limiters that you can adjust to cut the light into almost any shape. You can create a sharp-angled circle of light, a soft-angled circle of light, a square, a rectangle, a diagonal line, a line, and any variation of these. You can sharpen or blur the light pattern by moving the focusing element on the front lens.
You can control the light with barndoors, snoots, flags, and softboxes, but carrying that much around is space-consuming. The advantage of the Aputure Spotlight is that all the light shaping is done in-built. The ellipsoidal light also allows for very fine control - much finer and more precise control than you can get with, for example, Fresnel lights and barndoors.
The Bowens mount modification kit can be attached to any COB LED light with a Bowens mount, such as the Aputure LC 120D II, 120D or 300D or even the Godox SL150. You can get the most out of the spotlight when the light output is at least 100W.
The aluminum-built Aputure Spotlight Mount weighs about 5kg. The included yoke allows you to attach the spotlight to any tripod, from C-stands to ceiling rails or other sturdy mounts.
The set is equipped with a lens that provides a 19-degree beam. It is also possible to purchase 19-degree and 32-degree lenses as accessories.
It also comes with a gel holder, a gobo holder for B-size gobos, and a few gobos to get you started with light patterns.
