3 Legged Thing ELLIE Short L-Bracket - Orange

Adjustable and modular quick release plate replacement Arca-swiss compatible angle rail

The 3 Legged Thing Ellie Short is a handy L-shaped angle rail for your camera that allows you to securely attach your camera to an Arca-swiss compatible tripod. The side plate also includes the same mounting rail, so you can quickly attach your camera to the tripod head on one side for portrait shots.

Thanks to the new adjustable design, this L-bracket is perfect for a wide range of cameras. The angle distance can be adjusted to make it easier to open the battery compartment and memory card slot. The vertical rail can be rotated in two directions, which allows the cables to be attached to the camera to be positioned better on different camera models. In addition to the adjustability, the second corner piece is removable, leaving a sturdy quick-release plate section.

Arca Swiss

Arca-Swiss quick release plate is a very common mounting method between the quick release plate and tripod heads. This standard mounting method is used by several manufacturers such as Sirui, 3 Legged Thing, Peak Design, etc. Some lens tripod mounts, such as Tamron G2 series telephoto lenses, also have Arca-compatible grooves for direct mounting. Arca-Swiss is therefore a reliable and very common method for mounting cameras, which works completely cross-compatible with products from different manufacturers. The clamp-on rail mount is also very sturdy and can withstand even heavier equipment.

Ellie is made of durable and lightweight aluminum, and it also provides mechanical protection for the camera. The quick release plate is coated with a rubber coating that prevents slipping and protects the camera surface.

Versatile mounting options for accessories

The angle rail also features very convenient standard 1/4' female threads for accessories such as microphones or LED lights. The 3 Legged Thing Ellie also includes a place to attach a wrist or shoulder strap.
