Carrying a white (or black) lens near skittish animals is like waving your arms and shouting, “Here I am!”

Founded by wildlife photographer Scott Elowitz, LensCoat’s mission is simple: to provide high-quality protective gear and accessories for photography equipment.

LensCoats help you blend in and remain unobtrusive during shoots. This allows you to get close to, for example, migrating birds in spring or deer enjoying their morning meal. The neoprene cover also protects valuable lenses from bumps and scratches, helping maintain the equipment’s resale value.

Made from closed-cell neoprene, the covers are also waterproof (though this does not make the lens itself waterproof) and provide thermal insulation, keeping your hands warm while handling equipment in cold conditions.
