Chasing was founded in 2016 by a group of passionate diving enthusiasts and hardware and software professionals. The company has received several prestigious awards for its revolutionary products and innovative designs, including the Red Dot Design Award, iF Design Award, and Red Star Design Award.

In its first five years, Chasing developed six generations of products. Thanks to their low cost, high performance, ease of use, excellent portability, and other features, these robots have been widely applied in underwater observation and photography, aquaculture, underwater defense and rescue, hull inspection, scientific research, environmental testing, water protection, and hydroelectric power production.
