Sony LA-EA5 (Sony A to Sony E) adapter

The Sony LA-EA5 is a new adapter for Minolta / Sony A-mount lenses. Autofocus now also with screw-type lenses thanks to the focus motor built into the adapter.

With this adapter, you can use the features of the new bodies with lenses from the previous system: Real Time Tracking and Eye AF (also for animals), continuous shooting with continuous focus. Phase detection autofocus with compatible cameras. Continuous focus even works with screw-type lenses on the A7R IV and A6600 bodies.

The adapter does not contain lens elements, so it does not affect image quality or brightness. EXIF data and camera optical correction functions also work.

Note: Focusing does not work during video recording, and the adapter is also not compatible with STF lenses or teleconverters.
