The Panasonic Lumix G 25mm f/1.7 ASPH is a fast and compact lens for creative work. The high speed enables beautifully soft backgrounds in images and allows videographers and photographers to work without flash even in low light. The practical, classic 50mm (cinema equivalent) focal length is suitable for shooting a wide range of subjects thanks to its natural angle of view, its angle of view and perspective are almost the same as the human eye.

The Panasonic Lumix G 25 mm F1.7 ASPH lens has a construction of 8 elements in 7 groups. They include two aspherical lenses and one Ultra-High Refractive Index (UHR) element, which ensure a uniform image and sharpness from the center to the edges without chromatic aberration or distortion. The lens has an internal focusing system that ensures excellent accuracy from the closest focusing distance to infinity. The stepping motor ensures smooth and quiet focusing, making it ideal for both still and video shooting. In combination with the Contrast AF system of the Lumix G DSLM cameras, a very fast 240fps shooting frequency can also be used.
