The Panasonic X1200 is a suitable choice when you need a true video camera, i.e. reliable long-term recording, a very versatile zoom range and video recording features such as ND filters directly built in. A good choice as a primary camera for business use, recording events or as a secondary camera for larger productions.

This model does not have built-in streaming features or a separate viewfinder. The X1600, AG-CX18, AG-CX20 cameras released at the same time have the same sensor, stabilized optics, but there are differences in recording formats, connections and extra features.
