Don't let the name fool you, the new OM System is Olympus at its best! A name change to the new OM System brand is underway. Like Olympus' previous acclaimed Pro series lenses, this 20mm combines unrivaled image quality, mechanical quality and decent weather protection in a compact package.

The focal length of this lens is a rare 20mm. The cine equivalent is 40mm, which means this is a slightly wide-angle and distortion-free normal lens. It is great as the only lens for travel use.

Weather protection is not just a promise, and Olympus promises that the weather protection meets the IPX1 standard . The same protection also works against dust and frost. The front lens of the lens is coated with fluorine, which makes cleaning easier. The OM System 20mm is a fairly compact lens despite its brightness, with a filter thread of 58mm and a lens weight of 247 grams.

In addition to surgical sharpness and flawless images, the lens design has paid attention to the out-of-focus blur. Olympus / OM System calls this feathered bokeh.
