With the honeycomb you can create a gradient in the background, which brings life and atmosphere to the image. A plain background is usually boring and does not look like anything. This also allows you to partially illuminate the subject. With the gradient of light you get shape and softness and you can hide the areas you do not want to emphasize. By stacking several MagGrid cells on top of each other, you can control the reflection angle at which the flash shoots the light.
