According to the manufacturer, image quality is sharp even at full aperture but improves even more when stopped down. The Dragonfly in the name refers to the combination of a strong yet lightweight body and a durable exterior coating. The lens is weather-sealed and its size does not change when focusing (no air is blown onto the sensor), so the sensor remains clean even in harsh conditions.

Other details also meet the needs of the demanding user, aperture adjustment is possible with the adjustment ring directly on the lens. The focus ring is coated with a non-slip material and the feel is suitably dampened, suitable for precise work. The focus can also be locked.
