As a completely new feature, the lenses are now interchangeable in addition to just lens caps, the microphones have a built-in windscreen and thanks to the PureVideo shooting mode familiar from the Ace Pro 2 action camera, 360 video remains high quality even in low light. Battery life has been improved again, with 5.7K 24fps video recording lasting 185 minutes and this camera is water resistant to a depth of 15m.

With the new InstaFrame mode, you can record both a normal video and a 360-degree video at the same time. The normal video is ready to share right away, and you also get a 360-degree video for later editing.

In Single Lens Mode, the camera uses only one lens, as its name suggests. In this case, the video resolution can be up to 4K and the frame rate can be up to 60 frames per second. In Me Mode, the camera automatically frames the image on the subject and hides the separately purchased Invisible selfie stick from view. The camera records slow-motion footage at up to 4K 100fps.

The X5 includes several video modes, such as Timelapse, Bullet Time, TimeShift, Loop and Pre-recording, which means the camera records either a 15-second or 30-second clip before you press the button. To make shooting easier, the camera can be controlled with gesture and voice control. Battery life with 5.7K24fps shooting 185 minutes and 8K30fps 75 minutes. The battery charges fully in half an hour and 80% charging takes only 20 minutes.
