The Hähnel HR 280 PRO is a lightweight and easy-to-carry remote shutter release for Olympus and Panasonic cameras. It comes with a 2-meter extension cable with a reliable twist&lock attachment.

Like the shutter button on a camera, the remote shutter button has two parts: when pressed halfway, the camera focuses, and when pressed all the way down, the camera takes the picture. The button can also be locked in place for long exposures.

A remote shutter release allows you to take pictures without touching the camera, so the camera doesn't shake when you press the shutter button. This is especially useful when taking pictures with long exposures, as well as macro and telephoto photography. The shutter release can also be used to lock the shutter open for a desired amount of time.
