Canon's new fixed aperture zoom lens with image stabilization. With a focal length of 28-70mm, you can shoot landscapes and portraits, in nature or in the studio. The lens's small size and light weight make it easy to take with you on trips and street photography.

Includes an STM stepping motor for autofocus control. The lens group that focuses the lens is very light and is moved by a stepping motor. The advantage of this type of motor is that the movements can also be made slowly, allowing for smooth, subtle adjustments to focus when shooting video.

The lens features Canon's L-series level optics: two Ultra-Low Dispersion (UD) and two aspherical elements to improve color reproduction and reduce chromatic aberration. Super Spectra Coating reduces lens flare and enhances contrast.

The Canon RF 28-70 is weather and dust protected.
