The Byomic BYO-ST1 20x is easy to use and is a great first microscope for even the smallest researcher. A stereo microscope is also a good choice when the need for magnification is not very high. 20x magnification is sufficient in many cases, and this is intended for viewing slightly larger objects. With the BYO-ST1, you can, for example, view and examine insects, plant parts, coins, etc. A stereo microscope makes familiar objects look completely different than when viewed with the naked eye, as even small details are clearly visible.

The BYO-ST1 has a 60x60 mm sample table. It is equipped with two clamps to keep the sample in the correct position.

Note: If you want to examine very small objects, you will need a microscope with higher magnification. Higher magnification makes using the microscope a little more challenging, as placing objects requires precision, and adjusting the focus of the microscope itself requires care.

The microscope is easy to use: Just insert two AA batteries (included) into the battery compartment under the device, turn on the power, place the object on the stage, and focus using the controls on the side of the device.
