The DJI Mavic 3 Thermal Advanced is a professional drone that combines a high-quality 640x512px thermal camera with a small size. Due to its features, the drone is particularly suitable for monitoring and search tasks, mapping heat leaks, building solar parks, general energy sector maintenance applications, as well as use by rescue services and night missions. The package includes DJI Enterprise Care Basic protection for 12 months.
NOTE: This drone is the latest C1-class model version released in 2025.

Familiar drone now C1 classified

The DJI Mavic 3 series has been on the market for a long time as a C2-class drone. In 2025, DJI launched a new C1-classified model version. The main difference is that to fly the C1-classified version in urban conditions, you do not need to take the Traficom-supervised A2 theory test, but can be flown by completing the lighter A1/A3 online exam. The new C1-class aircraft is both a replacement and an improved model of the older C2-class drone.

The C1-classified aircraft is lighter in weight. The weight was removed by replacing the flight batteries with batteries of slightly smaller capacity. The thermal camera's thermal sensitivity has improved compared to before (8um vs 12um), the focal length of the thermal camera has increased to 60 millimeters instead of the previous 40mm and the field of view with one view has correspondingly narrowed slightly. In other words: a more precise thermal camera image and a longer imaging distance compared to before.

Three cameras

The Mavic 3 Thermal Advanced drone has three cameras for different uses.

The wide-angle camera is equipped with a 1/2" CMOS sensor, 48 megapixel sensor and 24mm focal length. The camera is particularly suitable for mapping and creating an overview of areas.

The zoom camera has a 12-megapixel sensor, 162mm film equivalent (6.7x wide-angle camera) and 56x hybrid zoom. The camera is suitable for viewing objects at longer distances.

The thermal camera has a 640x512 thermal image sensor with a 60mm equivalent focal length. The camera is particularly suitable for separating heat sources from the image. The RC Pro Enterprise controller allows you to view the thermal camera image and the traditional camera image simultaneously (split screen).

In thermal camera mode, point and area temperature measurements can also be made.

Easily transportable

The DJI Mavic 3 Thermal Advanced drone weighs 870 grams and due to its small size, the Mavic 3TA is easy and quick to set up and ready for use. The drone is delivered in a hard case. Due to its size, the Mavic 3 Enterprise drone is easy to carry with you on foot, on an ATV, on a boat or on a snowmobile.

Security built in

The DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise series drones feature advanced obstacle detection systems that help the drone monitor its surroundings and stop dangerous control commands. The detection system distances and the strength of the drone's braking can be adjusted to suit your specific use. The advanced Return-to-Home (RTH) function returns the drone to its starting point at the controller's command if the connection to the drone is lost.

Includes DJI Enterprise Care Basic coverage for 12 months.
