The Canon EOS 2000D is an updated version of the previous 1300D camera. The biggest change is the sensor with a larger pixel count (24.1 Mpix vs 18 Mpix). The advantage of the larger pixel count is that the images have more room for cropping afterwards. Other features include 9-point autofocus and FullHD video recording.

The body is equipped with a 3-inch (7.5cm) TFT LCD screen , the resolution of which has been doubled from the previous model to 920k dots. This makes viewing images and their details on the rear screen pleasant. Like the 1300D camera, this has WiFi and NFC connections , which make it possible to transfer and back up images to a smart device or Canon CS100 station, as well as to use the camera remotely wirelessly.

Another interesting feature is the 'Food Mode' , which enhances colors and brightness and makes images ready to share. This mode is designed especially for food photographers and bloggers.
