Brinno is one of the most popular cameras for TimeLapse photography. Brinno works as a so-called construction site camera, allowing you to effortlessly shoot interval videos of construction/renovation projects. The camera is suitable for contractors, gardeners or even architects for filming long-term projects. Of course, the device is also suitable for filming sunsets, northern lights, etc.

The included Brinno TLC200 Pro records a finished video from the still images it takes in HD 1280x720 resolution. The camera automatically stitches the images together, so there's no need for manual stitching or other post-processing.

Why TimeLapse with Brinno and not with a DSLR?

The battery life is in a completely different class than, for example, a smartphone or action camera. The manufacturer promises that the Brinno's battery life will last up to 40 days (at a 5s shooting frequency). In addition to the fact that Brinno excels in battery life, Brinno also has the advantage of being easy. While the post-processing of a Time-Lapse shot with a smartphone must be done manually, Brinno does everything automatically, meaning Brinno makes a fully finished video from the images it takes.

Brinno is powered by four AA batteries, which provide up to 240,000 photo storage, depending on settings. Files are stored on an SD memory card, from which files can be easily transferred to a computer. The maximum capacity of the memory card is 32GB. An 8GB memory card can hold approximately 13,000 photos at best quality.

The shooting frequency of the drone camera, or the image capture interval, is possible from 1 second to 24 hours, so the device works for recording both faster and less frequent events. A longer time interval is suitable for monitoring natural objects, for example, you can film the growth of plants. A more frequent time interval is excellent when filming a construction site or other event where a lot is happening.
