The Zoom F2-BT is a very small recorder that can be controlled with a phone app via Bluetooth. A microphone can be attached directly to the recorder and a clip-on mic is included. Thanks to its small size, the recorder is easy to attach to the belt of an actor or interviewee, for example.

The F2-BT is designed so that you don't have to worry about any extra adjustments or even volume, just turn it on and start recording. 32-bit float technology ensures that the sound doesn't clip.

The free Zoom F2 Control app, which can be installed on a smart device (phone/tablet), enables wireless control such as starting and stopping recording, setting the low-cut filter, and many other functions.

By pressing the recorder's hold button for a moment, you lock the buttons, preventing accidental presses from interrupting the recording. The recorder also has a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio monitoring, either in real time or when played back later. The time stamps on the files make it easier to synchronize audio and video in post-processing.

Transferring files to a computer is easy using a USB cable, and with the same cable you can use a power bank, for example, as a recording source.
