For over seven decades, the hawk (Habicht in German) has been an integral part of SWAROVSKI OPTIK's identity. For the Tyrolean family-owned company, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, this is the perfect opportunity to celebrate this enduring bond with a special edition of the CL Companion Habicht.

Only 1,000 CL Companion Habicht 8x30 Anniversary binoculars were produced. Each piece is numbered and we are now offering for sale the binoculars manufactured with serial number 275. The binoculars come with a handwritten certificate containing the serial number.

Compared to the traditional CL Companion binoculars, the design of the party binoculars was chosen to have a leather coating that matches the look and feel of the company's first Habicht binocular series. Sustainability has also been an important theme in the development of the special edition: the nappa leather used in the CL Companion Habicht is sustainably produced in Europe and tanned using a vegetable-based process. The high-quality case is made in Tyrol from loden fabric woven from German sheep wool and nappa leather. The case is lined with cotton.

The balanced optics of the CL Companion provide good viewing comfort with high-contrast, sharp and true-to-life images. The binoculars are lightweight and durable thanks to their slim, compact design and robust magnesium body. Intuitive handling, smart ergonomics and high-quality finish make the CL Companion the perfect companion for a wide range of outdoor activities.

The Swarowski CL Companion Habicht is slightly smaller than most binoculars with a 32mm front lens, but slightly larger than most compact binoculars with a 28mm or smaller front lens. The binocular tubes are connected by a very small bridge. The design has reduced the weight of the binoculars, which has made it possible to have a better grip on the binoculars.

CL Companion binoculars are waterproof to a depth of four meters. The binoculars are nitrogen-filled to prevent internal fogging of the objective surfaces during rapid temperature changes.

The CL Companion binoculars have a large focus ring that rotates smoothly and smoothly with a small amount of friction. This small amount of friction prevents accidental movement of the focus ring. The closest focusing distance is 3 meters. To focus from the closest focusing distance to infinity, approximately 180 degrees, or about one full rotation of the focus ring, are required.

The CL Companion binoculars have diopter adjustment around the right eyepiece, in the same location as binoculars from most other manufacturers.
