Swarovski AT BALANCE 14-35x65 telescope with stabilizer

The Swarovski Balance series of stabilized binoculars makes viewing even easier. The new stabilized binoculars also work handheld without a tripod. You get a stable view anytime, anywhere - whether you're on a birdwatching tower with a tripod or leaning against a tree with the binoculars in your hand.

The AT Balance angled telescope is powered by a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 12 hours – more than enough for a full day of observing. Switching to standby mode after five minutes of inactivity saves power and extends battery life. Movement reactivates the device immediately, so you can continue observing without interruption. The compact telescope fits in a backpack, for example, and the classic Swarovski coating makes it easy to handle.

The whole package is topped off with Swarovski's uncompromising optical quality.

Excellent image quality and stabilization now in one

There have been a few stabilized telescopes on the market before, but based on our tests, we are now in a completely different class of quality. The image of the AT Balance telescope is clear and the stabilizer works with modest accuracy. The image does not have the grayness, motion blur, or jerky image that is noticeable in cheaper telescopes.

In use, the telescope works just like a normal telescope. The telescope can also be used normally without power. However, things get much more interesting when the stabilizer button on the bottom of the tube is pressed and the green stabilizer indicator light comes on. All the usual vibration stops and the telescope locks onto its target.

A movable lens system is built into the aluminum-shelled telescope for stabilization. The telescope makes over a thousand measurements per second and continuously adjusts the position of the lens inside to adapt to even the smallest hand movements.

Quickly capture identification images, for example on a mobile phone

Taking identification photos through a telescope has always been possible, but now that a tripod is not necessarily needed, aiming the telescope becomes much faster than before. For the first time, it is also possible to take identification photos with a telescope handheld. The AT Balance telescope is compatible with the Swarovski VPA 2 phone adapter. In addition to the adapter, a CA-S mounting adapter is required to attach a mobile phone.

Made in EU - familiar quality, durability and warranty

Swarovski AT Balance telescopes are manufactured at Swarovski Optik's factories in Absam, Austria. Swarovski has always been known for its quality, and the new AT Balance series is no exception. The telescope's optics have a 10-year manufacturer's warranty and the electronic components have a 5-year warranty. Dropping a telescope is always dangerous, but with digital intelligence, possible damage can be prevented. The Swarovski AT Balance telescope detects a potential drop and locks the lens in a safe position to reduce damage.

ST Balance or AT Balance?

The Swarovski Balance series includes two telescopes: the straight ST Balance telescope and the angled AT Balance telescope.

ST Balance is suitable for viewers who keep their head straight and raise the tube high to eye level. A straight telescope is usually used, for example, for hunting, as finding a target with a straight telescope is fast and intuitive. A straight telescope is often used when looking through the telescope for a shorter period of time at a time. A straight telescope is also well suited for a new telescope owner or when the telescope is looked at a lot straight or downwards and the head movement is therefore straight or downwards. The ST Balance telescope has a 50mm front lens (usable size) and the telescope weighs 1300 grams.

The angled AT Balance is a traditional telescope that is looked at slightly downwards to get a straight image. The AT Balance is better suited for birds in flight and in trees, for example, as you don't have to hold your head up strongly to get the tilt. When held with your hand free, the angled model, which is held slightly lower, can be used for longer periods of time. The angled telescope is also generally better suited for use with a tripod. The effective size of the AT Balance's front lens is 65mm and it weighs 1470 grams.

Both types of telescopes are well suited for digiscoping. The telescopes use the same VPA 2 phone adapter with the CA-S mount adapter.
